Summer will be here before we know it so it's time to start planning a playgroup so we can bring out that $300 waterslide we purchased a few years ago that never gets enough use. Anyway, I was growing a little tired of all the typical pool party themes, then I saw this cute dress at Gymboree for my daughter and from there I just had to plan a themed party around it! Here are some inspiration pictures to get things rolling.

My son recently cut my daughters hair so we ended up giving her a pixie cut a little earlier than expected, when I saw this dress it reminded me of her new look:) Of course we had to get the accessories to match. She and I are fairly new to the use of headbands but so far they are working out great for her new hair style.
