This was one of my first attempts at our Mom's Group Birthday Gathering. There were not quite enough cupcakes to fill the cupcake stand. Mental Note: Make more cupcakes for the next party. But other than that, it turned out. I chose a lemon mix to match the yellow and black theme. If given a big budget I could have made this one so much cuter. LOL!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I love to plan parties, I HATE wrapping gifts. So here I am with this oversized gift and dreading the fact that I have to wrap it and worse than that, HOW am I going to wrap it. So as I am reaching for a trash bag out of the pantry, it hits me!! Throw it in a trash bag and stick a bow on it. BOOM, DONE!!! I'm all for sharing easy and painless solutions :-)
Anna's (Birthday Girl) husband has an obsession with castles. It has been a topic of many of our conversations over the last year (mostly because we all want to be invited to the castle once it has been completed...lol). I guess that is why I thought the chandelier would be an appropriate addition to the party theme.
