Sealife Nursery

While I was pregnant with my son, my best friend in the world flew to Florida from Maryland to decorate his nursery. I am forever grateful that she did, because I am not so sure it would have been done at all had she not been there.

Hard at work! It is hard to tell in this picture but she was painting his name to look like seaweed...so cute! After it was completed little fish were added.

I don't think I could have ever been this daring. The coral was sponge painted onto the wall and once completed we added sea life wallies from Pottery Barn. We didn't have enough to complete the project so, we begun the painful process of cutting little fish out of a wallborder that we purchased. It was very intricate but it made all the difference in the world.

These wallies were at the perfect level for my son. This is both a good and bad thing. However, I am proud to say that they all remained on the walls until we sold our house just a month ago. Surviving three kids(only two were mine, the other was a renter) over a 3 year period is not bad.
