We are a little over half way into Breast Cancer Awareness month. Are you wearing pink? There are so many great products out there that will benefit the cause. Here is a list of a few of my favorites this year.

I just saw that the Stella and Dot bracelet is SOLD OUT! That's awesome and yet a bummer at the same time.
Stella and Dot Bracelet
I became a fan of Coach keychains back in the 90's...you know the leather braid? Come on! You remember, right??
This one is adorable.
Coach Girly Mix Key Ring
Clinique and Essie the Clinique lotion is something I use all the time anyway..bonus! I know my daughter would love this pink nail polish.
I've spent the last month hemm and hawing over whether to purchase the Clarisonic. I think this is a sign. I hope it's as good as everyone says...we shall see.
Clarisonic
Avon shines when it comes to Breast Cancer Awareness month. There is always at least a page of items to choose from. I need a water bottle and my SIL is an Avon lady...perfect!! Everyone wins!

There are so many ways you can make a difference. One of the most noteworthy is the Susan G. Komen for the cure . This doesn't necessarily have to be a monetary way of helping. Support and encouragement is just as important if not more...no it is more. There is a section on how to support someone who has been diagnosed or share your own story of survival. I believe this is something so important because deep in the throes of the battle people want to see and hear someone who has made it through. I think it's a positive reinforcement not to give up hope and keep fighting. You can't buy that.
A few years ago we lost my husbands sister to this dreadful disease. She was an amazing woman, mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend who fought a courageous fight to the very end. Her strength was an inspiration to all that knew and loved her.
So my dear friends, please make sure to.........
if you are in your 20-30's make sure you don't put off that yearly visit for a clinical breast exam and mammograms every other year starting at age 40, unless you have a family history... SOONER!
Here is to all of the women (and men's) lives lost to this disease and the ones who are currently fighting. Cancer sucks!!
