It was a busy year for baby arrivals in our little circle of friends. Nicole gave birth to two beautiful (premature) twin girls. Her resilience was absolutely inspiring to watch. Given the fact that she was in the hospital for 4 weeks and once the twins were born, spent countless hours traveling back and forth to see her girls we thought it was best to wait to throw her a baby shower after the chaos settled a bit. So here it is!
Group picture of all the ladies!
We decided to make a wishing tree for the girls, it seemed appropriate since we all were on pins and needles throughout her entire pregnancy. The pink cards for Charlotte and the lavender for Madison.
I found the burp clothes from an Etsy Store called Icing On The Cupcake http://www.etsy.com/people/IcingOnTheCupcake. The quality was fantastic and the colors worked perfectly for the theme. If you get a chance check out her store.
The guest of honor is a huge fan of breakfast food.
Jen made the cutest bird houses using the theme paper we found at Stampin Up. The houses were found at Michael's. I was able to find the small nests with birds through Etsy. Jen also, made the table runner the fabric was another Etsy purchase from a store called My Heart and Sew http://www.etsy.com/people/MyHeartandSew?ref=ls_profile.
The Planners
Jen did a fantastic job of making these adorable wishing tree cards.
The wishing tree.
We used the Stampin Up paper for most everything. Wrap for the water, the welcome banner above and the rooftops for the bird houses.
Every crafty girl needs a Cricut! I threw a banner together in minutes.
Cookie favors were made by Hokulani Bake Shop. Delicious!! Jen found the graphics on Etsy and used the theme that was on the tags for the paper invitations and the Evite invitation. She backed them with the Stampin Up paper that was used for the party.
Aww....you are SO sweet! This shower was just gorgeous and I felt so special and blessed to have such a fabulous celebration of our little miracles. You are a gem Sherry and I miss you terribly!
